At WLM CustomerEclub we respect the privacy of our customers and those who use our services. The following Email Privacy Policy demonstrates our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information. Please keep in mind that our commitment to meeting the demands of our users may result in changes or additions to this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes to this Privacy Policy, will be posted on this page.
Children Under the Age of 13
We support the privacy and protection status of children and do not intend to communicate with or collect any personally identifiable information from children, except when a merchant or client specifically wants to include children in the merchant's email club. Our policy is clearly stated on sign up material that the email programs are intended for those over 18 years of age and at a minimum you must be 13 or older to join an Email Club or submit any information to us. We will only include children under 13 years of age in an Email Club if requested by a client and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. If such a request is made all registration materials will seek to obtain parental consent and make it clear that children may enroll.
When You Receive email from us
If you received a mailing from us, (a) your email address is either listed with us as someone who has expressly provided the email address for the purpose of receiving information ("opt-in"), or (b) you have registered or provided your email information to a participating WLM CustomerEclub Business Partner.
WLM CustomerEclub and its email marketing program participants do not obtain any information about you other than what you provide voluntarily. You are under no obligation to ever provide extra personal information in order to continue to receive your periodic promotion and special event offers. The intended use of any information you do voluntarily provide will enable us to highly personalize the communications you receive so that they are further tailored it to your own interests, needs and geographic area.
How to Stop Receiving email from us
WLM CustomerEclub provides an opportunity to opt-in, opt-out or change preferences via a link in the footer of most email messages you receive from us. Alternatively, you may always email us at removesupport (at) customereclub.com
About Data Security
WLM CustomerEclub uses every possible security measure to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All member data is collected and stored on secure servers and protected against unauthorized access. Although we make every effort to ensure security of participating client information, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal communications and information, we cannot fully ensure or warrant that your private communications and personal information will not be disclosed to third parties. Your information will never be sold by WLM CustomerEclub.
How we use member information
We will never sell or give away individual personal information to anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law or as requested by government or law enforcement agencies. We will also cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use our services to further illegal activity. Otherwise the information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of sending email requests based on your profile preferences and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
When you join a WLM CustomerEclub Partner email list, your preferences and other general information you have voluntarily provided to us may or may not be shared with the sponsor and added to the member information for their email list. If you join one or more WLM CustomerEclub Partner email lists, your information may also be owned separately by the Business Partner whose email lists you joined.
Occasionally, these Business Partners may choose to use the information you provided to send you information or promotions outside of Welcome Links email program. While WLM CustomerEclub asks participating partners to strictly adhere to these privacy guidelines, WLM CustomerEclub assumes no responsibility for communications sent directly from business partners or from third parties which said partner may have engaged. WLM CustomerEclub will never give, trade, sell or rent any personally identifiable information without your prior consent, but we do not have direct control of the actions taken by any business partner which with you may have shared your personal information.
Access to Information
We do not sell or give your personal information to others or share it with others, other than the business partners sponsoring the email lists you join, and service vendors who sometimes assist us. (Any service vendor WLM CustomerEclub utilizes is also subject to this confidentiality agreement and Policy Statement)
We may at times provide aggregate statistics about the members of the sponsoring business' email lists, traffic patterns, read rates, redemption rates, and related site information to advertisers and for other marketing and promotional purposes or to third party vendors. In these situations, we would not disclose any information that could be used to personally identify you.
We automatically track certain information, including banners or other hyper-links clicked on and whether members read the email messages from their email lists. This information is provided to the respective business sponsoring the email list and may include personally identifiable information.
Links to Other Sites
Emails you receive from us may contain advertisements and links to other web sites ("Third Party Materials"). We assume no responsibility for the privacy policies or content of these Third Party Materials. This Privacy Policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you in connection with the WLM CustomerEclub Email Marketing Programs. Business Partners who sponsor an email list we support may maintain their own web site and publish their own privacy policy.
OUR ANTI-SPAM POLICY
WLM CustomerEclub very simply put has a no tolerance Spam policy. Any participating business found to be using Information obtained through our WLM CustomerEclub program will be immediately cut-off from use of the service. If you know of or suspect any violators, please notify us immediately : abuse(at)CustomerEclub.com
Every email sent through the WLM CustomerEclub program contains an unsubscribe link which will automatically remove you from the participating email list.
What is Spam?
Spam is unsolicited email also known as UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email). By sending email to only to those who have requested to receive it. WLM CustomerEclub is not Spam and follows permission-based email guidelines.
Isn't there a law against sending Spam?
The federal anti-spam law went into effect on January 1st, 2004 (CAN-SPAM Act of 2003) and preempts all state laws. While this new law will not stop spam, it does make most spam illegal and ultimately less attractive to spammers. The law is specific about requirements to send commercial email and empowers the federal government to enforce the law. The penalties can include a fine and/or imprisonment for up to 5 years.
